Jeffrey Tseng is the CEO and co-founder of CrowdStar. Jeffrey blends his extensive console game knowledge with many years of developing mobile experiences for women to distinguish CrowdStar in the interactive entertainment space. Particularly obsessed with product and audience engagement, Jeffrey has deep hands-on experience across all areas of the business, from marketing and business intelligence to game design. Prior to CrowdStar, Jeffrey was part of the core team at Secret Level (acquired by Sega) creating AAA console titles, such as Magic the Gathering: Battlegrounds, Star Wars Starfighter and Iron Man.
Blair is heading CrowdStar's Brand team for Covet Fashion as well as Marketing after successfully leading Virals & Engagement, Product Strategy, Mobile, and probably something else. Blair previously worked at Playdom and eBay and studied Public Policy and Economics at Duke.
Chris McGill, SVP, GM of Design Home at Crowdstar, has a history as a serial entrepreneur and holding top level roles focused on distributing relevant and compelling content to a mass audience in a unique and impactful way. Prior to founding the social media platform Mixx and co-founding the data visualization platform Zoomdata, Chris held the positions of the VP of Strategy of USA Today as well as SVP of UberMedia. He served as a General Manager of Yahoo! News and Information, which included Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Weather, Yahoo! Education and Yahoo!'s kids offering Yahooligans, building the platform from scratch and making it the most viewed news source in the free world. Prior to joining Yahoo!, he worked in brand management/ marketing for the Clorox Company and served as Assistant Vice President at Bank of Boston. Chris holds an MBA from Duke University.
Tory has led Finance teams in the internet and mobile spaces and previously worked for Yahoo and Vodafone. She grew up in the UK and studied mathematics at Oxford and Stanford. She spends her spare time cycling up mountains. Contrary to popular belief, Tory Bourne is not related to Jason Bourne whatsoever; however, her skills are comparable or even better.
Jose (known to all as Tachu) heads up the Engineering department at CrowdStar. Tachu held engineering positions at Kickapps Corporation/Yuku, Cisco and Ezboard before joining CrowdStar. Tachu studied finance at Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala and is an avid football (as in soccer) fan.
George oversees visual and creative initiatives at CrowdStar. Prior to CrowdStar, George was with Secret Level/Sega of America and LucasArts and spent many years in the web industry. George has a degree in architecture from Miami University of Ohio and still thinks that one day he might become an architect.
Alex leads the Analytics team at CrowdStar. Prior to his current role, he produced multiple mobile game titles at CrowdStar. He previously worked at Wealthfront and at Credit Suisse, and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Mathematics.
Jakub heads up Product and Design for Covet Fashion and Design Home. Combining his experience in game design, product management, and community engagement, Jakub strives to create a positive, meaningful experience on both platforms. Before transitioning into this current role, Jakub worked on numerous CrowdStar titles for both Facebook and mobile gaming. He holds an EE and CS from UC Berkeley and has spent the last ten years mentoring future engineers and entrepreneurs with FIRST Robotics. With one eye always fixed on the future, Jakub enjoys spending his free time cycling, hiking the North Bay trails, and watching as much hockey as humanly possible.
Scott is the Executive Producer on Design Home. He has over 25 years experience in media production, having worked for companies such as Lucasfilm, Disney, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, and Nintendo. Scott is a graduate of the University of Michigan with degrees in Film/Video Production and Communication.
Barlow is the Art Director of Design Home, overseeing the visual look and feel, and focusing on the user experience. Since joining CrowdStar in 2009, he has directed numerous game titles for both Facebook and mobile. Barlow's career spans over 10 years in gaming art and production, having previously created web games and digital content for Cartoon Network and Disney. He holds degrees in fine art, design and digital illustration from California Lutheran University and Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games & Animation.
